"Reseller" in Telegram: Ukrainian car culture, a godfather, and Vibe Coding
A member of the "Vibe Coding" community spoke about a game that started as a joke about car resellers. Now, according to him, the project has about 2,500 activations and over 300 regular unique players.

See what "Reseller" looks like
Short promo video of the game: cars, deals, and Ukrainian car culture in Telegram. Duration — 47 seconds.
In "Reseller," a car is accompanied by a very familiar assurance: "No collateral, no credit, I checked it myself." Nearby is another ad: "The interior is dry, it only smells like me." And somewhere in this same world, a godfather is waiting for the deal, of course, taking his cut.
This is a Ukrainian game about buying, repairing, and reselling cars in Telegram. The project was presented by a participant in our chat under the name "Visnyk Perekuppa" (Reseller's Herald). He calls himself a non-technical person and describes the game creation process as Vibe Coding. He says they initially did it for fun, but then a community began to form around the game.
Buy, fix, and find the next buyer
According to the author, the core of "Perekuppa" is simple: buy cars, repair them, and sell them for more. Added to this are searching for license plates, opening containers, and easter eggs about Ukrainian resellers. Among the archetypes he mentions are a Lutsk car dealer, a godfather-scammer, and a student taxi driver.
The provided screenshot shows a garage limit, in-game resources, and sections for "Market," "Garage," "Schemes," "Quests," "Shop," and "Profile." Car cards specify the year, mileage, and rarity. In other words, we are looking at a fully designed game interface with several development directions, rather than just an idea in a message.
For a brief explanation of the game, there is no need to start with a long list of systems. Buy cheaper, put in the effort, and try to sell for more: the logic is familiar even to those who have never been interested in car simulators. Next, it is important to see how exactly the game develops this simple promise.
A godfather with a commission and ads with character
The most expressive part of the shown materials is hidden in the words. In the "With the Godfather" section, there is Kum Kyrylych, the description "Wedding Godfather," and a 4% commission. The explanation for his reliability is also ready: "Well, you were at the wedding. What else do you need?"

This is a recognizable joke about trust through acquaintance, which fits perfectly with the theme of reselling cars. Nearby is a counter of how many times the godfather has scammed, and shelves with cars. It is precisely the combination of a dry game figure and a very human excuse that makes the scene funny.
In our opinion, this is the most interesting creative move of "Perekuppa": giving an economic game its own local voice. A common action like browsing offers gains character through a seller's remark. Instead of an abstract intermediary, a godfather appears, someone you feel like you've already sat at a table with.
Such details give the player another reason to open a new card: it's interesting not just which car is being offered, but also what the seller will write this time. For an economic game, this is a successful way to add story without long introductory explanations.
About 2,500 activations according to the author
The author reports approximately 2,500 activations and over 300 regular unique players. He separately clarifies that these are activations, not installations: currently, the game runs in Telegram.
These figures are provided by the author. We have not verified the internal analytics, and the exact period and method for defining a "regular player" are not specified in the message. Therefore, they should be read as stated project growth indicators, without calculating audience retention or conversions.
For the story of "Perekuppa," something else is significant: the author is already receiving reactions from people who try the game, return, and suggest changes. It is exactly these kinds of specific feedback that provide material for subsequent development decisions.
Vibe Coding that reached the players
A chat participant writes that they derive great pleasure from development, even though they lack a technical background. The project offers a chance to talk about the human side of Vibe Coding: choosing a theme, coming up with characteristic details, and reacting to what players do.
The case is already interesting for our community because the author is working on a project used by other people. This raises questions that don't exist in a polished demo: is the first step clear, where does a new player get lost, which mechanic should be expanded, and what do participants actually want to see.
According to the author, community ideas are considered, and a significant portion of them are implemented. He describes the chat itself as friendly and warm. For the author, this becomes part of the joy of development: he sees who needs the next change and has someone to discuss it with.
For those who also want to make a game with AI, here is a practical thought: it's worth starting with a theme you can fill with your own details and a clear action for the player. In "Perekup" (The Reseller), it's a car deal, and around it, the garage, characters, jokes, and extra activities are already growing. This is a possible approach to your own project, not a guarantee of the same results.
Where to try "Perekup"
The game is available via the @perekup_game_bot in Telegram. Open it via the link below and click "Open App".
The author especially asks for feedback from new players. The most useful thing after the first encounter is to describe a specific moment: where it was unclear what you wanted to do and what was missing to achieve it. Such messages are easier to turn into the next game improvement.
"Perekup" already has a voice that is easy to recognize by a single announcement or a line from the kuman (buddy). For a project that started as a joke, this is a good foundation for future versions. And to see how much you like this vibe, you can just try it in Telegram.
