How to make a presentation with AI: from chaotic notes to six clear slides

Asking to "make a beautiful presentation" is easy. It's harder to get slides after which it's clear what you are proposing and what decision needs to be made. Let's start with a small set of facts, and we'll add design after the structure.

First, one question for the audience

Write down what should happen after viewing: approve a pilot, choose a date, give feedback, or buy a specific service. If you don't know the answer yourself, AI will most often fill the presentation with generic words. After that, define the audience: a client, a colleague, or a beginner sees the same topic differently.

Our fictional example — a workshop wants to try online booking. Presentation goal: approve a two-week pilot. Known facts: applications currently come via messages; three services are available; the master must manually confirm the time. Unknowns: number of applications, development cost, expected sales growth. These gaps must not be filled with pretty numbers.

A package of facts instead of a wall of text

Pass four blocks to the assistant: goal, audience, verified facts, and unknowns. Add constraints: presentation duration, number of slides, and viewing method. For a presentation from a phone, shorter phrases are needed than for a document intended for independent reading.

First, ask to show a plan without design. For each slide: one main idea and a fact that supports it. If there is no fact, the model should suggest a question or an explicitly marked hypothesis. Do not allow it to invent reviews, statistics, or client logos.

Six slides for our example

  1. The requested solution: to test online booking for two weeks.
  2. Current process: a person writes a message, and the master manually agrees on the time.
  3. Pilot boundaries: three services, request form, manual confirmation. No prepayment in the first stage.
  4. How we will check: number of correct requests, time errors, and requests that still had to be clarified.
  5. Unknowns and risks: budget needs to be estimated; no sales growth percentage is promised.
  6. Next step: agree on a responsible person and a start date.

This is an original training structure, not a case study with proven revenue growth. It can be transferred to any slide editor.

Copy and paste your data

Help plan a presentation in Ukrainian. Do not create a design yet. Goal: [required solution]. Audience: [who is watching]. Format: [presentation / independent reading]. Time: [minutes]. Verified facts: [list]. Unknowns: [list]. Constraints: [what we do not promise]. Provide a 6-slide plan: assertion-headline, one idea, confirmation from my facts, speaker notes, required visual. Do not invent numbers, quotes, clients, or results. Mark hypotheses. If data is missing for the solution, ask up to three specific questions. The last slide must contain one clear action for the audience.

How to assemble in Google Slides

via the via Google search, Gemini in Slides can generate slides and images, rewrite text, and access Drive files. A compatible Google Workspace or Google AI plan is required. Check availability in your account before paying.

If the feature is available, open the presentation on a computer, call Gemini, and provide the agreed plan. Create one slide at a time and check it before moving to the next. If the button is missing, use AI only for structure and text, and assemble the six slides manually in a regular editor. For our example, paid AI integration is not mandatory.

Design that doesn't hide the meaning

Choose one light or dark background, one accent color, and two text sizes. Leave the idea and a short confirmation on the slide; move the explanation to the speaker notes. Instead of a random AI image, draw a simple three-step diagram if it truly explains the process.

Review the presentation on the device where the audience will see it. Read the headlines without the main text: they should form a story. Then, verify the numbers against the fact pack. If a slide does not impact the required decision, shorten or remove it.

Check before sending

Ensure the link opens with the correct permissions and that the exported PDF preserves Ukrainian characters and does not cut off captions. For the presentation, go through all the material out loud and time yourself. Six slides do not guarantee a short report if each one has three minutes of explanation.

Download fact pack and structure. If the material starts with a conversation, first prepare a verified audio transcript. For numbers from the document, there is a PDF script → table.

Sources and method

Facts about the services have been verified against official materials. Examples, prompts, and the workflow were prepared by the editorial team. This is not a comparative test of model accuracy or speed. How we work.
