About the game
On New Year's Eve, Hryts, disguised as Santa, broke into the house to steal gifts. Help Mark and his dog Bublyk set up funny pranks to make him flee before midnight! Each level features new traps and new ways to drive out "Santa".

Controls
Mouse or touch: click a location — Marco goes there; click a hiding spot — he finds an item; click furniture — he sets a trap. Hide from Hryts's flashlight, and Bublyk will bark to lure him into a trap. A guiding hand will show you what to do.

I wanted to make a cozy New Year's game for children — no ads and understandable even to those who can't read yet. We wrote the code, levels, traps, translations into 6 languages, and even the New Year's music ("Shchedryk" and carols) together with Claude in Godot. The most interesting part was coming up with pranks: feathers, soap suds, snow avalanches — and watching children laugh when Hryts slips. The browser version is a 3-level demo; the full game is for Android.
